The Springs Resort and Spa (Pictured Above) is located just over Wolf Creek Pass from South Fork, CO. Travel about 60 miles on Highway 160W from South Fork to Pagosa Springs. The Resort offers 18 pools of varying temperatures from 83 – 114 degrees. Overlooking the San Juan Mountains and San Juan River you are sure to find a temperature just right for you. Sand Dunes Swimming Pool and RV Park is located north of Hooper, CO on Highway 17. Turn right about half mile north of Hooper onto CR 63. Follow the signs to the pool. This pool is well worth the drive and has a snack bar on site. Summer hours are from 10am to 10pm, closed on Thursdays. Admission is $18 for 13+ adults and $12 for 3-12 yr old children. Mountain views from the outdoor pool are spectacular. Diving board, slide, small kids pool and hotter therapy pools are available in addition to the large pool.

Splashland Hot Springs (summer only starting Memorial day) has a warm, geothermal outdoor swimming pool that has been around since 1955. Now remodeled and upgraded with a concession stand and 2 new 50ft water slides, this natural hot springs is a great place to take the family to enjoy a summer afternoon. Open Tues-Fri, 10am-5pm, located 1 mile north of Alamosa on Hwy 17. Adults $12, Kids $6, Seniors $5.

Joyful Journey Hot Springs Spa is located at the Northern gateway of the Valley. Travel on Highway 17 North of the town of Mosca and onto CR 58 Ee. The Resort offers smaller pools with a variety of water temperatures. This artesian spa has naturally occurring minerals in it for therapy. Hours are 9:30am to 10pm, Sunday-Wednesday. 9:30am – 8pm Thursday-Saturday. Adults $15, Children $12. Seniors $12 Lodging and Spa services also available.
