Jared Polis is weighing the latest public health guidance as he continues to approve new guidelines for both Coloradans and visitors to recreate, dine, and experience our state safely. Recent measures approved allow residents and visitors alike to recreate in the great outdoors while maintaining a sustainable level of physical distancing.
The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment has most recently placed Rio Grande County to the RED Level of the state’s dial framework. You can learn more about Colorado’s dial framework here. Under this framework, the current restrictions and regulations are as follows: COVID 19 Level is Elevated. However, at this Time NO Public Health Orders are in place. Use your personal good judgement about mask wearing and social distancing.
